Venture Advocacy

Texas Venture Alliance is the only advocate for the Texas venture & startup community in the state focused in the following areas:

  • Legislation

We focus on legislation for the Texas venture community by promoting and creating funding opportunities across the state. All Texas Venture members not only receive the most-up-to-date progress and final bill tracking, they help co-create, define, and promote new legislation.

  • Events

As an early initiative, the first TVA Capital & Capitol Mixer was held in October 2022. View the recap and sign up for more events here. To keep appraised of related events, sign up for the newsletter using the form below.

  • Strategy

We engage state lawmakers, as well as start to collaborate on city and federal levels to impact how startups and investors are advocated for. Grassroots and coalition building are also used in roadmapping, including earned and proactive media coverage.
